COO Forum

Cathy Lieberman is the director of the Chicago Chapter of the COO Forum, a national association providing professional development for Second-in-Command Executives through peer-to-peer collaboration, education, forums and networking. As a COO Forum Director, Cathy is recognized as an established business leader in the Chicagoland area. In this role, she organizes monthly meetings and special events for Chicago area COO Forum members and has extensive local autonomy to invite participation from new members and local experts.

The COO Forum was established in 2004 expressly to provide a safe place for Second-in-Command Executives to gather and collaborate. The COO Forum has a no selling policy and is not a networking group. The goal is to provide professional development, personal growth, and new ideas for executives to run their companies better.

COO Forum meetings are informal with 8-12 around the table. We regularly host a guest thought leader who facilitates an active discussion on their topic of expertise. Thus our meetings have participants not spectators. For a list of past topics and thought leaders from the Chicago Chapter of the COO Forum, click here. The COO Forum is an invitation only membership group with a modest membership fee. Click COO Forum for more information.

I have had the privilege of working with Cathy Lieberman and the Chicago Chapter of the COO Forum for the last two years. Cathy has assembled a great group of professionals from different businesses that are able to collaborate and help each other solve business problems in a safe and confidential environment.

The COO Forum has really made an impact with me, as I have been able to take input from Cathy and my other colleagues directly to my office to help facilitate conversations and make important decisions. The roundtable discussions alone have made my investment of time and money well worth it.

Cathy and the group are outstanding!
